We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cicada:
-Some signs of calcification and degradation to the stone, with associated losses and nicks to minor areas and and extremities, the largest measuring approx. 2 x 0.7 cm.
Sword guard:
-In good overall condition, with the exception of some nicks to the edges and extremities.
-There are natural fissure occurring in the stone.
