Details

The cover is painted in iron-brown over a white slip with two butterflies hovering above a floral spray glaze. The shallow box is similarly covered in a white slip and clear glaze and raised on a low foot ring surrounding the unglazed base.

-The outer mouth rim of the cover has a few small nicks. The outer wall has a glaze flake measuring approx. 0.5 cm wide.
-There are three chips to the mouth rim of the box, the largest measuring approx. 3 cm wide.
-There are a few small nicks to the outer mouth rim of the box.
-Otherwise in good overall condition.
