Details
The jar is decorated with brown pigment above a layer of white slip and under a clear glaze. Four scenes are enclosed in bracket-lobed cartouches, each depicting a male or female figure appreciating flowers in a garden. The interior is lined with white slip and covered with a clear glaze. The base is unglazed revealing the pale grey body.
