The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is a dent to the mouth with some minor associated losses to the enamels and fine cracks
- There is a small dent to one dragon medallion, which may have caused a crack to the lower section
- There are a few other isolated minor knocks and dents
- There is rubbing to the enamels and wear to gilding as can be expected
- There is a cylindrical metal lining fitted inside the vase, which appears to be original to manufacture
