The flaring body of the stem cup is painted with lanca characters interspersed with flower-heads growing from scrolled stems bearing curled leaves above a band of radiating lappets. The splayed stem has a collar decorated with sprigs above tassels pendent from ruyi-heads repeated in a band around the foot. The interior is painted with a large stylised flower-head medallion.
