Details
The lot comprises three bronze two-part chariot fittings, two axle caps are cast with ‘wave’ patterns on the tapered ends of the shafts, the other axle cap cast with a band of lappets. All with rectangular apertures on the shafts through which slide the pins each terminating in a tiger’s head. All with malachite encrustations.
Longest: 6 ¼ in. (15.8 cm.)
