The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Shoushan oval seal:
- The seal face may have been re-carved
- The left side of the mouth of the larger fish has been buffed
- There are a few nicks and edges to surfaces and edges, and a small fissure to the rim of the seal face
Shoushan rectangular seal:
- Edges of the seal face have been polished, the seal face may have been re-carved
- There are a few nicks and scratches to the edges and surfaces, as can be expected
