The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are a few restored chips to the mouth rim, including one measuring approx. 4 cm. wide; a smaller one to the inner mouth rim approx. 1 cm. wide; and one to the outer mouth rim approx. 2 cm. wide, all with associated areas of overpainting
- The metal band has not been removed to examine the condition underneath
