The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Bowl:
-There are some chips to the foot
-There are some glaze crackles and flakes
-There are some nicks to the side of the exterior well
-There are scattered areas of restoration with associated areas of overpainting, the largest measuring approx. 3 x 2 cm.
-There is wear and scratches to the surfaces
Stem dish:
-There is a restored chip to the mouth rim, measuring approx. 1.5 x 1.2 cm.
-There is ware and scratches to the surfaces
