The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
All three:
-There are some enamel flakes
-There is wear and scratches to the surface
-There are some nicks to the base
Fuxing:
-There is a fine crack below the chin, possibly occurred during the firing, and overpainted
-There is some touch up to the nose
-There is overspraying to the back of the hat
Shouxing:
-There are scattered areas of extensive restoration and overpainting, especially to the back, lower section of the robe, the hands
Luxing:
-There are scattered areas of restoration, including the edge of the ruyi , hands and the neck, with associated area of overpainting
