The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- Most are in good overall condition with some minor enamel flakes particularly to the rims and corners, glaze lines to some of the bases, and wear to the gilding.
- The second largest bowl has several long cracks across the interior which have been restored with associated overpainting.
