The seal is surmounted by a finial in the form of a recumbent chi beast turning its head backward, its contours abstractly characterised by ruyi scrolls. The seal face is carved with the characters Linchuan Lishi, ‘Li from Linchuan’. There is a Shangjun signature on one side.
