We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-The Luohan is attached to the stand, its underside has not been examined
-The stand is composed of two sections and there are scratches to the base
-Parts of the stone including the right hand, parts of the face and body show up in a different color under UV light, but this does not appear to be restoration, only variations in the soapstone's color
-There is a small chip to the hem that has been repaired
