The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
Agate carving of ‘boy and double fish’:
-There are several bi-conically drilled holes for suspension: One drilled through the right underarm area, one to the back of the head, and one at both ends from the top to the bottom.
-There are a few minute nicks to the edges and extremities as can be expected.
Agate carving of ‘boy and lotus’:
-There is a chip to the edge of the lotus leaf, measuring approx. 0.3 cm. wide.
-There are two chips to the tips of the lotus petals near the foot.
-There are a few very minute nicks to the edges and extremities as can be expected.
Tourmaline carving of ‘frog’:
-There are a few minute nicks and knocks to the edges and extremities as can be expected.
-Otherwise in good overall condition.
