The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-All in good overall condition with the exception of a few minute nicks to the edges and extremities.

Lotus leaf brush palette:
-There is a fine hairline to one of the lotus leaf petals extending to the stem, measuring approx. 1 cm.
-There is a small polished nick to one corner of the reverse of the lotus leaf.
Horse brush palette:
-There are two polished nicks to the body and one to the horse hoof, measuring approx. 0.3 cm. wide.

Lotus root toggle:
-There are a few nicks and chips to the lotus petals, the largest measuring 0.7 cm.
-There is a minor bruise to one lower petal.
-There is a little roughness of some areas of the lotus stem.
