The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is a shallow chip measuring approx. 0.6 cm. wide to the rim of the base, and a few other minute nicks to the rims and surfaces, as can be expected
- The outer mouth rim has been lightly buffed
- There are some fissures in the stone, most of which are inherent and have been incorporated into the carving
