The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cover:
-There are a few minute chips to the edges, the largest measuring approx. 0.3 cm. wide.
-There are two chips and a minute nick to the inner mouth rim, the largest measuring approx. 0.9 cm.
Teapot:
-A body line can be seen between the upper handle and the body.
-There are chips to two corners on the top, the largest measuring 0.6 cm. wide
-There is a small nick to the tip of the spout.
-There is a shallow chip to one corner of the base.
