The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. There are handling marks and media splashes in places, most notably to the right of the extreme upper edge, presumably in keeping with the artist’s working method. There is a small tear to the upper left edge, measuring approximately 1cm in length. There is a minute crease to the centre of the extreme left edge. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
