The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. Inconsistencies to the glaze and crazing to the black engobe, both inherent to the artist's technique. One tiny chip to the black rim at the upper left edge of the mask, and an associated displacement of black engobe, probably from the time of execution. Some minor fritting to the extreme edges. The reverse with some adhesive residue and a white label at the upper centre. Subject to the foregoing it it our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
