The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. Evidence of sympathetic cosmetic restoration to a small area to the underside of the rim at the upper right edge. Crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing. The footrim with a few tiny nicks to the glaze. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
