The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The rim with two small chips and one or two nicks. Some pitting to the glaze in places and some very light crazing in the red areas, from the time of firing. Some very light scratches to the glaze in places. The underside with two footmarks, from the time of firing, and the remnants of an old adhesive label. The footrim with one nick. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally excellent condition.
