The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips detected. One or two light surface scratches to the engobe in places. The rim with one or two tiny nicks to the engobe. Minor pitting and crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The underside with two fine hair line firing cracks which appear to fluoresce softly under ultra violet light. The underside with three footmarks from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
