The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No chips or restorations detected. The exterior of the handle with a few fine firing cracks. Minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The black glaze with one or two surface scuffs. The footrim with one or two tiny nicks, and remnants of pen. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
