The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. The rim with one or two light scuff marks. The handle with some tiny nicks to the glaze and to the oxide. A fine firing crack to the lower handle join. Minor pitting to the glaze in places from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt in places. The underside with remnants of old adhesive. The footrim with some minor scuffs. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
