The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The rim with one or two smalls nicks and one or two scuff marks to the glaze. Minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt. The underside with a small nick to the rim, and four footmarks from the time of firing. The underside with remnants of old adhesive. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
