The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. One or two minor nicks to the glaze to the left side of the plate, and one or two tiny nicks to the oxide to the centre of the plate. The rim with one or two tiny nicks and scuffmarks. The underside of the rim with a tiny chip. Minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The underside with three foot marks from the time of firing. The footrim with one or two tiny nicks and scuffmarks. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
