On close inspection there is a hairline crack at the top of the handle that appears to be from the time of firing. Examined under ultraviolet light there is retouching to the spout and to the handle, where it joins the body of the pitcher on one side and to a located area in the centre. One small chip to the body of the pitcher on the left side of the bull. Scattered surface scratches, with a few small abrasions and nicks, in particular one larger scratch on the front right leg of the bull. Some light surface dirt and scuffmarks, predominantly to the handle. The underside with some wear, with some small associated chips and nicks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
