Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The handle soundly attached. Some minor handling marks and lines of surface abrasion in places, mainly in the lower half of the vase. One or two small spots of reddish accretion inside the spout and one underneath the handle (probably from the studio). The underneath with minor rubbing consistent with age. Examined under ultra-violet light. Nothing shows. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
