The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The rim with a tiny chip. One or two further tiny chips to the black engobe on the handle. On close inspection some scattered fine surface scratches and scuffs, with one or two tiny nicks. Minor surface dirt in places, consistent with handling. The footrim with one or two tiny chips and nicks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
