The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. Some evidence of sympathetic retouching to a small area on the footrim. Two tiny nicks to the glaze; one at the centre left of the rim and the other to the underside of the left rim. One or two light surface scratches in places. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
