The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No restorations detected. The handle appears to be soundly attached. A very fine short firing crack at the upper right joint of the handle and neck. There is some rubbing and some spots of pigment loss at the left and right corners of the mouth. Some mild surface dirt and a few minor surface abrasions elsewhere. The underneath of the four feet with some rubbing consistent with age. Examined under ultra-violet light. Nothing shows under ultra-violet light. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
