The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips detected. The interior of the nose with two very fine firing cracks to the engobe. Evidence of some tiny spots of cosmetic retouching to the black engobe. Evidence of remnants of an adhesive label to the centre right. One or two mild scuff marks and minor surface dirt in places consistent with handling. The footrim with some minor scuff marks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
