The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips detected. The upper right and upper left rim edges with two small areas of cosmetic restoration, and further small scattered areas to the rim edge. The lower left rim edge with a fine firing crack and associated small area of cosmetic restoration. Crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks, with associated nicks to the glaze, from the time of firing. The footrim with a tiny nick and some minor scuff marks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
