The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A few tiny spots of light wear, particularly towards the lower edge and one small unobtrusive nick to the left eye, only visible on very close inspection. Some light surface dirt. The underside with one or two tiny nicks to the footrim. Three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
