The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. The right of the upper join of the handle with a fine hairline crack, from the time of firing. Fine lines of crazing to the glaze in places and minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt and handling marks in places. One or two small nicks to the base and the underside with remnants of two old adhesive labels. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
