The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. The interior of the spout with one fine crack, from the time of firing. Pitting in places, from the time of firing. One or two fine surface scratches and spots of surface dirt. On very close inspection, some very light wear to the black engobe of the right eye. The footrim with some general wear. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally excellent condition.
