The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. The lower left rim with a small area of cosmetic restoration, and one or two further small spots of cosmetic restoration in scattered places around the rim. One tiny spot of loss in the green area. Crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks, with two tiny associated nicks to the glaze, from the time of firing. The footrim with mild scuff marks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
