The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Mild surface dirt in places and scuffing to the unglazed areas. The reverse with three foot marks to the foot rim from the time of firing. A band of yellow adhesive residue, possibly from a removed plate hanger and a patch of further residue to the foot rim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
