The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The underside of the rim with two small chips and one or two nicks. Some very light pitting, from the time of firing, predominantly towards the rim. On close inspection, some light scattered surface scratches and one or two small scuff marks. The underside with some scuff marks and light surface dirt, consistent with handling. The footrim with some light wear and some minor staining from a previous adhesive. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in very good condition.
