The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Surface dirt, scuffs and handling marks throughout. The upper rim with minor fritting and associated losses to the engobe. Further tiny spots of loss to the engobe below the belly button and in places elsewhere. The handle securely attached, with evidence of previous restoration at the upper and lower joints. Possible further restoration surrounding the lower handle. The foot rim with two small chips, fritting, some wear and old adhesive remnants. Crazing to the interior of the lip and jug, consistent with the artist's technique. Some surface dirt in the interior.
