The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No restorations detected. The handle soundly attached. A tiny loss of black engobe on the neck of the jug near the handle, unobtrusive. The upper rim with a few minor losses of black engobe. Some mild surface dirt and water marks. Some surface dirt and dust inside. The lower rim with a few minor chips and abrasion consistent with age. Four circular felt pads attached to the underside.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
