The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hairline firing cracks at the four joints of the handles. The upper joint of the left handle is the only one of the four that appears to have a slightly extended crack with a possible tiny associated loss. However, the handle appears to be secure. A small area of pitting at the lower rim with some minute losses of black engobe, probably from the time of execution. Some minor handling marks and scuffs in places and some surface dirt inside the vessel.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
