The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. A fine firing crack to the glaze from the time of firing around the centre of the plate. The rim with a tiny nick to the glaze. Minor pitting and crazing to the glaze in places from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks from the time of firing, two of them with associated small losses to the glaze. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
