The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Crazing throughout, consistent with the artist's technique. Some surface dirt and handling marks. On close inspection, tiny inconsistencies in the glaze in the face, from the time of firing. The reverse with four footmarks with tiny associated losses and a hairline crack to the glazing at the middle of the base. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
