The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No restorations detected. On close examination one very fine hairline crack to the interior of the spout, from the time of firing. There is one tiny chip to the rim. There is some pitting to the glaze, with one or two further small inconsistencies, and some crazing to the brown glaze, from the time of firing. There is some surface dirt to the interior. The underside with a 'made in France' stamp. Some light wear and remnants of old adhesive labels. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
