The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. The rim with a sympathetically retouched old break, which fluoresces under ultraviolet light. The rim with some very fine spots of black pigment. Some scattered fine scratches, and general surface dirt, consistent with handling. The underside with what appears to have been a very small chip with some light cosmetic restoration. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
