The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No restorations detected. Some rubbing and a few tiny pin-point chips to the black engobe in places, most notably to the rim and highpoints of the engraving. A few very short and fine firing cracks within the ridges on the lower edge of the base. Some surface dirt, particularly inside the vessel.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
