The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. Three small areas of cosmetic retouching to the upper right rim edge, and the third to the centre left rim edge. Minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt. The underside with three footmarks from the time of firing. The underside with two adhesive labels and remnants of old adhesive. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
