The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There is some crazing to the glaze, consistent with the artist's technique. On close inspection there is evidence of sympathetic restoration to the tail and to the lower fin where there is a hairline crack. The reverse with two footmarks and a few tiny chips to the outer rim, two with associated cosmetic retouching.
