The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The rim with one or two nicks to the glaze in places and fine surface scratches in some areas. Pitting to the glaze in places from the time of firing. The underside with four footmarks from the time of firing and remnants of old adhesive in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
